Fall Wildflowers {slightly obsessed}

There are a couple of different yellow flowers growing wild and free EVERYWHERE in the deep South right now.  I know one is goldenrod (impressive, no?).  It is glorious in photographs (doesn’t hurt that my favorite color is yellow, either).  The other looks more daisy-ish, and is equally as brilliant.  Can anyone ID it for me?  I’m not sure how long this stuff sticks around, maybe another couple of weeks.  Time to get those cameras out and capture it before it is gone.  Or email me and I’ll capture it for you.  You know, with YOU and your kiddos in the picture : )  I’ve found some out-of-control wildflower spots!

 

Here’s a fun little trick.  Shoot toward the setting sun (but don’t include the sun in your frame).  I always try to keep the sun right off the edge of my shot. These were taken at about 4:30.  This will give you that hazy, dreamy look.  Here are a couple of my little people…
