A favorite part of my summer is spending time taking pictures of my clients on the coast! The weather this year has cooperated perfectly! This evening was no exception. Aren’t these cousins adorable!??

Meet my little cousin, Nolen! He is just the most precious little blue-eyed fellow, is he not?! We had a great session a couple of months ago (yep, just now getting them posted). These sunset field sessions are fast becoming a favorite of mine because that light is always divine!
I feel like such a lucky girl to photograph this beautiful family! Abby and Trey are both childhood friends of mine, and Abby and I lived together our senior year at Auburn. I won’t even say how many years ago that has already been. There is something so indescribably sweet about seeing your childhood friends take on the role of parents so beautifully. Their girls are full of personality and a such joy to photograph!
The colors are fantastic!
So I am WAY behind in updating my portfolio with the weddings I have shot or second shot (this one with the fabulous Hillary) over the past year or so. It has been fun and challenging branching out a bit from family and portrait work. Weddings intimidated the heck out of me. I mean really. But I have found a better understanding of how the day flows and what my style is…my groove, if you will. And it is sweet. And rewarding. And documenting these days has been a pleasure. Here are a tiny handful of favorites from Caroline and Matt’s day at American Village.
Gorge! These are just amazing!
Can y’all feel it? Fall is on our doorstep! Football (or more importantly, football food), soup, pumpkins, pumpkin spice latte, etc., etc. It’s the perfect time to schedule those back to school pictures, Halloween costume photos, or Christmas card pictures (you know, before we get pasty!). Shoot me an email or message me on FB to reserve a spot!
