A little wall art grouping inspiration for your Thursday…
I had a great session with this gorgeous family last week. It was a bit overcast, but that ended up working to our advantage giving us some really pretty filtered light. And kudos to this mama! She nailed “coordinated, but not matching” outfits. I LOVE all their yellow accents. Perfection. We got an above average number of really great family shots, so I just had to share several. Enjoy!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!! You are so great – thank you, and I can’t wait to see the rest!
Ahhhhhh! Gorgeous family and gorgeous photos! I can’t wait to see them all!
There are a couple of different yellow flowers growing wild and free EVERYWHERE in the deep South right now. I know one is goldenrod (impressive, no?). It is glorious in photographs (doesn’t hurt that my favorite color is yellow, either). The other looks more daisy-ish, and is equally as brilliant. Can anyone ID it for me? I’m not sure how long this stuff sticks around, maybe another couple of weeks. Time to get those cameras out and capture it before it is gone. Or email me and I’ll capture it for you. You know, with YOU and your kiddos in the picture : ) I’ve found some out-of-control wildflower spots!
Here’s a fun little trick. Shoot toward the setting sun (but don’t include the sun in your frame). I always try to keep the sun right off the edge of my shot. These were taken at about 4:30. This will give you that hazy, dreamy look. Here are a couple of my little people…

LOVE the last picture. They are too cute!
So magical!! Thanks for sharing, girl!
I had a lovely session at the gardens with Miss Emma and her mama. She is such a sweetheart. And that hair! I don’t think I’ve ever photographed the back of a child’s head as much as hers! She has the thickest, sweetest curls : ) Wow, I had a really hard time choosing which shots to post…so many sweet ones!
WOW WOW WOW!! Those pictures are exquisite!! You captured some precious shots!! (even though I am one of her grandmothers!!! 🙂 Can’t wait to see the other pictures…!!!!
Thank you!! 🙂
Another great fall session with almost two-year-old Paxton. Isn’t he handsome?! He loved his rocks and sticks! We even found some great “fishing pole” sticks! The fall color is really starting to emerge around our parts and we are taking full advantage.
I can not stop looking at these! So excited about the rest of them 🙂
