My prayer for these two when I was expecting sister #2 was that they would be fast friends; each others’ greatest ally, loudest cheerleader, and staunchest defender. It is the sweetest blessing to watch this little relationship bloom!
One of my good friends from way back when and her husband just welcomed baby number three a couple of weeks ago. Just like her two big brothers, this sweet pea made her debut a few weeks early. She is going to be one lucky, loved little lady! And serious props to her mama for keeping things cool and under control with two energetic little boys and a brand newborn. Other than an economy-sized trail mix spill, everything was smooth sailing for our session! Congratulations guys. Enjoy your sweet girl!
A couple of weeks ago we drove up to North Alabama to celebrate 60 years of marriage and a vow renewal with my grandparents-in law. We all gather to celebrate young couples on their wedding day, and rightly so, but isn’t this where the real celebration should be? The day in and day out with another for 60 years cannot all be pleasant. What a testimony of love and perseverance from this marriage!

Had a beautiful session with this first-time mom and dad to be in their lovely downtown home. The oversize windows, hardwoods, and sweet nursery were the perfect backdrop. I loved spending the morning with them, and am impatiently waiting to meet their sweet little guy in just a few weeks! He is already so obviously loved and adored!
I cannot believe it’s almost Christmas. Staying true to form, I am not done shopping and haven’t wrapped a single thing! Jealous? Thought I would pause a moment and get a sneak peak posted.
