When Whitney and Ryan first contacted me about setting up a newborn session they had a hunch that baby might arrive a little late. And he did. After a bit of a scary labor and unplanned C-section, beautiful Isaac arrived…five days late. He is just head to toe perfection. He was so sweet and content throughout our session. I couldn’t stop commenting on what a good baby he was!

Hospital has been toured, baby classes completed, newborn necessities purchased, and now, they wait. It was so much fun to meet up with Justin and Janelle and capture a few photos of this precious time before Caleb arrives. Janelle is just beautiful. And tiny. And glowing.
It was great to meet up with these kiddos last week at the gardens for their Christmas session. It has been a while since our last session, and I was shocked at how much they have grown! They really wanted to explore and run around, and I don’t blame them! If you haven’t visited Aldridge Gardens, you are missing a treat!
My favorite wildflowers are blooming across town. Yes, I am taking my Allegra. I think this might be my favorite “family” picture time. The afternoon light and wildflowers pack quite the punch, don’t you think?
