Little One {Abigail}

The morning of our originally scheduled session was dark and gloomy, but not a drop of rain had fallen. This is fine with me because cloudy skies yield nice, even light.  On the way to our location, it started to sprinkle.  We hopped out and gave it a go, but the rains came pouring about five minutes into shooting.  Take two.  A week later.  Beautiful sunny skies and mild temps.  We were happy and dry!  Sweet Abigail could not be any more beautiful.  I had so much fun getting to chat with her mom and dad and capture this sweet time in the life of this family!

Kiddos {Ellis + Liza}

Laura and I go WAY back.  She used to babysit my sister and I from time to time.  And she was the cool sitter.  You know, the one that brought a box full of crafts and surprises to entertain us.  In high school, she was a senior when I was a lowly freshman.  She and her fellow senior friends big time humbled themselves to reach out to us and include us in much of their “senior fun”.  We truly thought they hung the moon!  So, you can only imagine the fun of catching up with her and getting to see her precious babies.  The white dress and bonnet that Liza is wearing were made by her great-grandmother.  This is the kind of thing that makes my little photog heart happy!

Brand New {Vivi}

I was so happy to meet Miss Vivi!  Her mama and daddy are two of our favorites, and we have been so looking forward to her arrival.  She was wide eyed and alert for our entire session.  I was told that she has really only cried about three times since birth, and even her cry is just a sweet little whimper.  I can’t imagine what it’s like to have a baby like this. I believe my girls both cried for about five straight months.  Congrats on your sweet little love guys!

Expecting {Staci + Ken}

Staci and I met at Bunko night at my neighbor’s house a while back.  At the time, she and Ken lived out of town and were just up for a visit.  These two have had some big changes in the past months.  They have moved to town and their first little one is on the way!  They are not finding out if it’s a girl or boy…that takes some discipline, especially for a firstborn!  We shot in late afternoon.  This time of day never disappoints!
